Shellac and Gelish are soak off gel polishes. Polish are applied and are cured under UV light and act like gels. Gel Polish will be for more than two weeks on your nails.
Advantage of Gel Polish is they give nail design, strength and protection without damaging your natural nails and also glossy incredible shine. Gel Polish try it at a salon, and if you are as impressed as most women consider buying the nail kit to try at home!
The polish comes in a bottle like normal and you have to apply base coat, color coats and top coat as normal, but you cure under a uv lamp after each coat and then they are dry immediately once you have cured the top coat.
I Prefer to buy OPI brand Gel Polish. OPI gels require drying or “curing” in a UV light. This permits you to put your recently painted nails below a mini UV light for about two minutes and it cures the gel polish – activating chemical substances within the polish to rapidly cure and harden it.
The most popular OPI gel polish is their Axxium Soak-Off Gel Lacquer System, which includes everything you need minus the UV light to obtain. Gel polishes utilized 3 layers typically, and OPI gels aren’t any exception. There’s a base PH bonding coat, then your preferred colour of nail gel, then a protective top coat.
